Description Nintendo has launched its download service for DS which helps you locate download centers, try game demos and watch exclusive movies on your handheld.
By typing in your zip code on the Nintendo DS website, you can find where your nearest download center is located. Take your Nintendo DS to your local participating game store, many have kiosks set up for that purpose, and wirelessly download demos of the newest DS games! With the new DS Download Station, you can sample the latest games and try before you buy.
The Nintendo store locator works within a 20 mile radius from the zip code you provide while the demos will stay on your handheld until you power down. Nintendo has also released a FAQ regarding the process though it’s all pretty straight forward.
This is another step in the expansion of the DS that Nintendo has planned while there are some suggestions that Revolution may let DS owners download demos from the Internet onto their portable device as part of its networking features.
