Description Blizzard confirmed today that Diablo III art director Brian Morrisroe has resigned.
Morrisroe is the man behind the colorful Diablo III art style that stirred up controversy among the series' fans; but his decision to leave has nothing to do with that. According to Blizzard, Morrisroe "resigned to form a startup technology company (outside the game industry)".
"This change won't impact the game", said Bliizard. We're really pleased with the look and feel that Brian helped create for Diablo III, and the new person we bring onboard will work with the other artists on the team to maintain the art style moving forward.",/b>
