Description A report on the Daily Mail suggests that British universities' game development courses are a sham.
According to the report, of more than 80 computer games degrees available in Britain, only 4 are approved by Skillset - the body representing the creative media industry - as fully meeting employers' needs.
The rest of the courses are said to "lack vital computing, maths or art and animation skills". The report called them "Mickey Mouse" degrees that have little job relevance.
"I can't remember the last time I employed someone from them", said Jamie MacDonald, the vice-president of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios Europe.
