Current rumours on Wii hardware is that the GPU can also do some of the physics calculations due to ATIs recent work in that field. Which should take some pressure off it's CPU.

yes. As far as i know the DS can. And from what i have heard, you have a choice of the sensor controller or other controllers for the wii to use with games.

Yeah im hoping this is the way it is but you never know untill its available on the high street so im just doing that..waiting to see!

You dont have to use the Wii sensor controller. You can use other controllers. That's the beauty of the Wii. It gives you options.

Only thing putting me off the wii is the fecking stupid wave the controller about crap.The next ipod u say? hmm i dont have or want one of them either.Need a new battery for an ipod.Oh yes says apple , buy a new ipod then.

wii is getting real awesome. Although they did play a few tricks on purpose. The major thing they did was purposely not to tell their specs to cause massive speculation and interest.Next thing they are doing is focussing on improving the simple gaming fundamentals. They are also trademarking names etc. Wii is gonna be the next iPod - not in an mp3 player sense, but the next 'cool' thing to get that is funky and techy but simple to use so that even non-gamers get it. Nintendo is very smart, and they did this on purpose, following the tactics of Apple.

The Wii console is going to surprise many with it's graphic capability. Nintendo did not hype the Gamecube the way Sony hyped the PS2, and in the end, the GameCube pushed out better visuals. I am betting the Wii will cause a great stir and the price is right.

i only want to say one thing:
if you want best graphicts so buy PS3 and Xbox 360, but if you want more fun and other ways to play, so buy Wii...

I'm still getting a Wii, then PS3 for basic fun and power/Blu-Ray respecively. If I'm going to get a power console, I'm not going for the lesser one.

I think that in the romanized representation of some languages, "!" is a clicking sound made by the tongue and the roof of the mouth.

Just one more reason for me to say "HELL NO" to buying the PS3 and picking up a Wii console with a few games and a few extra controllers for the same price as the PS3. Or just get a Wii console and a Xbox360.
