It doesn't matter if you've got more horsepower or not, the console with the better software lineup and cheaper price will win, as was mentioned below.

Think ill stick to my pc and ds lite.I bought the ds to run flash roms on and the pc games are very reasonable price wise and are always next gen, no matter when you buy em! Sure theyre dearer to build but i already have 100+ games on pc and i sure as hell spend less this way than buying the console games at twice the prices and in some cases more than twice the price of the console stuff.

Anonymous at 3:39 6/8/2006 tell us when did the most powerful console ever win? Never did. Case in point? The DS killing the PSP. Cheaper consoles with game support always wins. Always. The PS3 for example unless the price drops fast, is f**ked

WTF is wrong with you below me WII is so totally next gen. Its using new tecnology that is the first step to true VR and thats better than anything the PS3 and 360 can boast about. its a damn shame the other system are charging $60 per game because that will be too much. the Wii will s**t all over the ps3 with ease Soney is dead and for the better

WTF is wrong with you people WII isnt even next gen. Its using old technology for hardware it is no where near as powerful as 360 or ps3 the only good thing about it is the controller. No wonder the games are 49 usd cause this peice of crap isnt worth buying ps3 and 360 will s**t all over it with ease Nitendo is dying out and for the better.....

Anonymous at 14:29 3/8/2006 Really? Well EA is not saying those things about the PS3. Just the other systems :P They are waiting to see how the PS3 pans out. Translation. Don't expect to see too many games from EA or any of it's publishers on the PS3 in 2007

The price of console games is truly ridiculous, in the uk anyway. When i went to buy oblivion for the pc as i walked past the 360 games i noticed it was £49.99 and i got the pc one for £26.99.How the hell they can charge that i dunno, after all theres no piracy on 360 so more profit aint there?

EA publishes almost 75% of the games released on the PC and Consoles. So they don't suck

EA is good and all, but theres more to the name than that, they have a like a bizzillion goofballs working on all kinds of game projects. Can't really say they suck, unless you don't like playing those types of games. So play something else, or just stick with Blizzard and u'll be fine.

EA suck ass. they rinse everything. never happy with one release of a crap game, always have to churn out loads. YAWN at EA. YAY at Nintendo.

Yay, go Nintendo. The price difference might not seem much in the US but it has a far greater effect here in the UK. Example:360 games are £50 ($93 USD) PS3 games are rumoured to cost at least $70 in the US, meaning they will cost around £60 in the UK ($112 USD) Wii games cost $49 in the US, meaning they only cost £40 here - that's the same as the last gen prices :D

wow, what can you do with 10 bucks? Buy lunch maybe? With the savings I guess you could buy an extra game with every 5 you get. So you can get 6 platformers for the price of 5. Really this isnt any decent news. especially since where I live, the dollar value is about half of the US dollar, so the games would cost around 100You know throughout all this, I think I will just play pc games.

Too bad Anonymous that EA is the largest most influential game developer in the world that own most of those 3rd party software houses that made the PS2 so much money. Please tell us what other developers should it be? lmfao
