If you think the wiimote is for FPS's you're just a huge fanboy f**king n00b.
The Wii is gay, the 360 is decent, the PPS3 is too powerful for most people so they start flaming it instead of embracing the opportunities they have been brought. Stop discounting a console you know nothing about.

Well a lot of people hear suck at gaming or are noobs if they don't know how to use the Wii-mote. It rocks. Never had a problem. Rocks in first person shooters. Rayman Rocks. Wii Rocks. 360 Rocks. PS3 sucks. If you want graphics buy a powerful PC. If you want fun with friends/family and want a different style of game play buy a Wii, and maybe a 360(for Halo 3 lol).

I think consoles should cater to party gaming, not gimmicks, thats why I hate all the current consoles and am upgrading MY PC. I'll stick with my PS2 and Xbox. The wii is just f**king gay, the PS3 is uber expensive, and the 360 is a hunk of s**t.
I'll also keep my 64 ;) (PS - Spamming is annoying, ain't it?)

Why should we care about graphics in consoles anyway. If you want graphics you want a decent PC NOT a CONSOLE. Consoles should aim for more original and innovative ways of playing games like the Wii is doing and that's why I'm buying a Wii and NOT a X360 or PS3. I'm fine with my PC as it is.

The controller really is not used well in anything other than sports and Zelda, I thought it was just mine but after spending $60 on a new one it became apparent that it wasn't.

Yeah - my WiiMote gets f**ked up from time to time in madden - but its definitely a software issue and not a hardware issue. My controllers still work perfectly in Rayman, COD3 and Zelda. I'm enjoying the messaging system w/ 78 friends already in my address book and a s**tton of Mii's showing up.

I dont believe anyone on this forum is posting the truth Wii has both controll types and Wii is far more powerful then GC. The control is perfect with no faults unexperience fools here thats all.

I pre-ordered the Gamecube Zelda since I can use the standard controller & it's identical in everyway (graphics, sound, content, etc.) to the Wii version except for widescreen support.There are definite control problems in some games !

Except for Zelda ...the new Wii controller does NOT work that well. Just another gimmick ...however, I like Nintendo & some games will use only the standard controller in the future.

Well, I'm gonna pickup a Wii once the hype dies off, and you can find it in retail at MRSP.I'm getting the 360 once the new lower power consumption CPU version releases. I'm going to wait around a year or so to get the PS3 or until a ground breaking game releases.. i.e FF, MGS, or something cool.. I didn't get the PS2 until over a year after release, so I think I will do the same here... heh
