Pc is not over priced, I got a nvidia egva 8800gt for $200.00
I also have the 360, but it is really really worth to wait for a game for the pc, i just tried the devil may cry 4 demo for pc and 360 and man, resolution makes a huge difference!! and YES maybe is not just resolution, is also FSAA and filters but the PC version is just waaaaaaaay better.
so work a little get all consoles (like me, see the difference and stop talking sht. hehe

Yeah, you surely don't have a HD display for your console. Because all 1080p owners must be REALLY pissed as their consonles can't even pull 720p games most of the time.Btw, a 180$ card does a much better job than your console pulling out ~1024p

who cares what you can play on your PC with your overpriced, constantly upgraded, $400 a year GPU!
Gears of War a year after the console release...GTA4... oh you're still waiting. Halo.... ahem ahem.
Way to spend all that money on graphics power just to play seldom released strategy games and WoW!!
No one cares about resolutions in a game, no one except BITTER PC gamers.
Consoles sell more than PC graphic cards. Console games sell more than PC games. Developers make MORE money from consoles...hence they spend more time making console games!! Have fun playing StarCraft 2 :P

I didn't like Halo 1 really, until i had played it some more.And holy f**kin s**t bad ass zeus f**king mary. That game was amazing. I bet its the same with Haze, but since its a PS only game, it sux :P (xbox fanboy!)

100 more pixels?!! 100 MORE PIXELS?!!?576p equals 1024x576... which is 589824 total pixels
720p is 1280x720... which is a total of 921600 pixels The total difference is 382976 pixels!

Anon at 14:57; All critical data is preloaded into the RAM. The DVD is NOT a bottleneck for rendering performance. The ONLY reason they upscale from 576p is because it'll give them perhaps 15% more performance, instead of optimizing properly. Don't talk about bottlenecks when you don't even understand how a PC or a console works.

I don't think the resolution is really that big a deal. I wouldn't have known cod4 or halo weren't running in 720p if i hadn't read about it.The gameplay is though, and so far it doesn't look good for haze.

yes 720p is a low resolution.. but consoles DO NOT have the power.. no matter what you cram into them there loading things from a disk drive, and probably an ATA one, which is a slow connection. so you have slow connection, and a slow drive (hard drives are WAY FASTER) its an instant bottle neck

Don't support this bullsh!t! Upscaling makes the image blurry and jaggies bigger if you have an HDTV or an LCD monitor. Consoles does have the power to support (1280x)720p, it isn't even a high resolution. I play Overlord on my PC at 1440x900 with an X850XT..

upscaling isn't as bad as every one claims it to be. but thats just because most consoles gamers done use PC's so they don't know what high resolution is, so to them it makes little visible difference anyways
