That "missing" 22GB is probably due to the HDD makes using 1000 Bytes = 1KB. This has been around for a long time.

I recently installed a Western Digital 2.5" 320GB HDD in my PS3. I think it's only reading it as a 300GB though because it says 298GB on the right hand side of the slash. So [Free Space] / 298GB.

A "Tom Cruise" is when I strap a dildo to my forehead and face-f*ck a girl like a unicorn on amphetamines.

even though the hard drive is bigger, this version has less ups ports and no ability to read flash cards. why does less = more $$$?

At the PS3 launch a few years ago, a PS3 with a 20GB hard drive cost $500. Today the hard drives is bigger but the price is still the same. SONY, MAKE THE PS3 CHEAPER! How many PS3 owners really need a 160GB drive?!
