I think Sony's motion controller might be better suited for gaming like that analyst guy says, BUT, it would be pretty cool, if you had a Peripheral like the Wii Zapper, and Natal was able to recognize it. That would be pretty neat as well.

I never gave a flying f**k about motion tech, and I still don't. It is the dumbest s**t to hit videogames in a while. I need something with force feedback at least. Controlling the games with your mind would be better.

know what multiplats looks better on also?, pc, which i rather buy them on, ps3 have great looking games and game time that the xbox will never be able to achieve, the cell prox allow for more on screen at once and better interactive psychics.

Unfortunately hes correct. So the guy below u is not wrong, but right. Graphically speaking both console r at a halt. CPU does not equal better graphics, just has more horsepower to drive games.

to punk below me. Are you sure :) ? PS3 does have far more advanced CPU... kinda, bottlenecked by design and crippled due to s**t yields. But CPU doesnt do jack s**t for graphics and speaking of which funny enough most multiplatformers look nicer on 360. FACT, simple as that. Same as Sony lost all its major exclusive titles like final fantasy that doesnt look worse on 360 ironically.

oh ya, this controller looked 100X's more promising than any motion device from nint and micro, last time i checked, ps3 is still selling games, and getting more popular, it will be write up there with the rest.

As a Wii and PS3 owner I am interested in buying the new motion controllers for the PS3. Luckily for me I got my Wii for free, as the controller is unresponsive and innacurate to the point of frustration, and hopefully the new Sony controller will be as accurate as they are claiming and at last make tennis/boxing etc games much more lifelike and enjoyable.As for Natal, good luck. I don't own a 360, and the Natal does nothing to 'excite' me or increase my desire to buy an xbox. I hope it does well as it looks like it could be a bit of fun, but it looks to me like the Wii's motion controller, being initially fun but eventually very frustrating with its lack of responsiveness. PS. ARGH I HATE POSTING ON THIS SITE, STUPID CAPCHA!

17:10. I think all PS3 and 360 are taking totally different roads then the direction the Wii went. But i would say the PS3's is more similar to the Wii's. But the 360 is more INNOVATIVE then you think, there is no controller in your hand, that's called innovation.

The guy your bashing clearly infers that you can't use Natal or MC for most games, and it will only be limited to the lame stuff you see on the Wii like bowling or golf. anyhoo, i think that the natal could be good for xbox, as long as the software/support is decent for it. they've dangled the carrot, seen peoples views and interest's, now show us decent games for it, not some half arsed racing demo(i'm sure you've all seen it) and no we don't want a little boy as our friend either, fugging peadaphiles dream that is. or some demo of our reflection in the water, have a bath and a mirror for that. so lets not make this into an expensive webcam with movement sensors and a mic, that can be done for a lot less than they'll be asking. thats a fact.

I belive natal is up to some bigger kind of thing than a game console... this thing is very good, but not for gaming.Can't wait to see what some hacking and modding on the software can do to that "controller", expect some really nice *hit from this, but no good games.

who gives a sh*t about motion control or natal? sure, if I'm playing a lame-ass bowling or fishing game, motion capture methods could work. but how do you play halo 3 with motion control? better yet, who will win in a duel: the halo3 guy using a controller, or the halo3 guy flailing his arms all over the place. now apply this concept to all the blockbusters--Halo 3, GTA IV, Call of Duty series, MGS, etc. Are you really going to control your character better using motion capture over a controller? Hell no. Hence, I think the use of Natal and PS3 MC will be limited to the gayness that you typically see on the Wii.

Makes sense, the worse idea always does better. PS2>Xbox, Ps2 sucked so it won. Wii> 360, Ps3 and Wii is HORRIBLE. The worse, cheaper, simplier idea always does best. So it makes sense that Ps3 Inferior motion scheme would do better than Natal. I forget that people are SO stupid they're going to the worst choice all the time now. People don't make bad choices, they are bad choices now.

@anon 12:58 Price and timing weren't the only reasons it failed. Lack of games due to hardware that made it difficult for programs to code for was probably a bigger reason than anything else. If you don't have any good games, it doesn't matter what the price of your system is, no one is going to buy it.

@12:58 This may be true, but in the end it still equals the PS3 failing. Those are all things that should have been considered. I feel both these systems will fail, but either way, even if the PS3 version wins, It is still gonna be "meh"
