Lay off the drugs and the happy thoughts... consoles have been around for the last 25+ years... Facebook and MySpace is the niche right now and would be lucky to be aroundin two years... My grandmother and parents are on Facebook... Anyone else see that episode of Southpark? Two words... Alabama Man. This guy is only saying this to make his business venture seem more real then it is.

Playfish, please start making "original" games and not dumbfounded statements. Get stuck in that s**tty Facebook forever.
so im assuming playfish doesn't send anyone to E3 or else he would of heard about OnLive... which theoretically could fix that very problem... social game employee interviews FTL! :D
The is the most mental bullsh*t I've ever heard... i hate consoles i could only dream of such a world... where we all play happy Flash games online... but i know its not going to happen... your all to silly to let that happen XD

I think they were pretty drunk when making this statement. Gaming is one of the many things that will never die, not even in the future. It just like life, when you try to end it, it will just keep going, the same goes for gaming, when you try to end it, it just keeps going on and on and on. I must say, they really need a scientist to make these statements believable, only then would people even care a little bit about these statements of them... I must say, Facebook is even more dangerous for someone then gaming, so good game playfish, I wish you were bankrupted a year ago...

I think in the next 2 years playfish will go bankrupt.

The people at Playfish don't know sh*t.

"social games such as the ones offered by facebook"
What. The. f**k.
Gayfish at 18:54 5/7/2009
I'm right and you're all wrong.

Wow, this person needs to really sort their life out if they think this. Someone clearly hasn't been seeing that the videogame market is one of the few growing markets during the recession.

The analyst in question is a f***ing idiot then. I would much rather blast people's face off in, say, Bound in Blood than go pitty-pat with a bunch of nameless, faceless retards on facefail...

Come to think of it..I've always wondered while playing Call of Duty 4 on my 360 how much more fun it would be to have facebook games instead...
BE f**kING REAL LOL f**k OFF GAMES WILL NEVER DIE
Anonymous at 21:36 4/7/2009
this has to be one of the dumbest statements i've ever seen in my whole life.
Saying that videogame consoles will struggle because games are tending to be social. Seriously, not even a double-facepalm is enough for such stupidity.
Only thing dumber than this is MG's captcha

Shouldn't most people out-grow imaginary friends at some point?
Anonymous at 16:41 4/7/2009
You know what they said the exact same thing 2 years ago

This is OUR WORLD, you will never take it from us, in two years the next gen announcement arrives. So go think of a new way to make better games that require more thought and release them on console or your shiot out of luck.
Watchamacallit at 11:3 4/7/2009
utter bulls**t. Even tough you might not have all your real life friends on it you can make new friends while playing games together.
Since most consoles are online and such.
dunno out wich stone age this moron came but he is really a dumbass.
