OK IM sorry but i have to comment on what Jacob said..you are obviously not innovative or procreative it would not be unusual for a game to be made into a movie for one they have already made comics into movies and people loved them also have you ever heard of rooster teeth productions? probably not or you would know that they have already made a series by using the halo multiplayer games and what gives you the right to say the only people who would see it are nerds? do you even know or have seen half the people at the e3 demonstration of halo 2 or who waited till 12:00 a.m. just to receive their prepaid copy of halo 2? did you know that there were actors at e3 waiting to see the demonstration IM sorry maybe their nerds to but if their nerds then there are millions of other nerds as well because most of the nation idolizes them and not only people are talking about a halo movie but people on television are also waiting for it as well and halo 3 will be on (xbox 360) that is the name of the next gen. console not (xbox 2) and what idiot would think that Microsoft would let their competition get a hold of their baby their gold mine keep in mind if you did not know this bungie is a branch of Microsoft and they are in competition with Sony as well as Nintendo and yes it is definite it WILL be for the (xbox 360) the gaming industry is moving forward not back peddling think of it this way the (xbox 360) is a treasure chest and halo 3 is the key to unlocking its potential

hey i no what gunna be in halo 3.a flamethrower, and combat knife.you can use jackel sheilds and set traps like a exploding warthogs.you can drive a pelican(big ship)and a boat,and a ATV and a tank that can carry people.there will be robots you can fight with or against like in james bond. an enviroments will be different like rainy or snowy and you can carry moble turrets and other stuff i got all of this from a website.

i think halo should be for xbox 1, it would make more money for microsoft.because playstation 3 comes out before xbox 360 and if they want to shut out sony they would make it for xbox 1 instead of waiting for the new system cause they just want to make there money and no one wants to spend 300-500 dollars for a new one so i say trash the whole xbox 360

I think Halo 3 will be freaken awesome. With how good the other games are.I hope it will have good online play.Thats all i'll be playing,But I want to keep my level from Halo 2. It's hard to get to level 29.Will we still have that level when we start Halo 3?

lol you know what? There are a couple of theories for this. And just so you know, THE WHOLE COMING FEBRUARY NINTH THING IS A HOAX! But anyway, Halo 3 may come out the same day SONY brings out the PS3 which would be an extremely smart move, or it will be a launch title for the X-Box 2, which would also be smart, or could come out later, which is also semi-smart. You see, they are making a Halo movie, and my guess is that it will illustrate what happens between Halo 2 and 3. Then Bungie could release Halo 3 later, after everyone sees the movie.Thats why that move is smart. Oh, and expect downloadable content VERY soon. L8R.

Halo 3 for sure is going to rock the boat and if its on xbox 2 it will rule even more, rumours have it that sony is going to use blu-ray disks a dual sided BD can hold up to 54gb rather then the 4.7gb a normal dvd holds, and knowing microsoft they will use it to no way they will stand by and watch that happen, so if the rumours are true halo 3 is going to be one big game.Also some ppl are saying halo 2 was short well yes it was but it also did have 2 hours of cut scenes,and if you have friends or xbox live the fun does not stop there you can go online and battle it out head to head or with a game of up to 16 players and i dont no about you guys but for me that just rocks, the game does not finish when you finish the single player.

fella's and ladies, yes the end of halo 2 was a little dissapointing, and yes halo is argubully the only game that kept xbox alive in the first place, but i for christ sake you can tell y. the game is incredible, the graphics, the gameplay, the abilitity it has to bring 16 ppl 2gether and battle it out for 48+ hours, halo3 will be the end of it, they can't continue as oine of you said who will they fight, that squid thing (possible creator of the flood??) could spawn who knows what. no matter what i will buy halo3 even if i have 2 buy xbox2 and if they tell me i need a gold plated toilet for it to run i'll go out and but one. Basically i'll buy, do whatevai need to to play this game, it shall, and will rock the kasbar, so all you haters out there keep that sh!t 2 yaself LONG LIVE THE CHIEF!!!!

lol... who cares! there both good directers anyway. The thought of a Halo movie is awesome, but like all other video game movies, this could be bad, VERY bad. If they were to do a movie, they should do it through computer graphical art, not actual actors. Make the whole movie like the picute megagames has for this topic with the original voices.

Halo & Halo2 were great but i don't think Halo3 will be on Xbox2 I have been told by loads of my friends that at the End of Halo 2 in Legendary mode there is a Flash on the of February 9th but i done the last level in legendary but i didn't see it but 5 of my friends said they saw it. But they had done more levels in Legendary than me.Try it your self and see what happends there will be ether a continueion to the story of Halo2 called Halo2 part2 etc and Halo3 will be released on Xbox2. I kinda figured from the start Halo 3 would be on XBOX 2. So there no suprise there. Its a nice sales pitch for the XBox2, if it sells as well as halo2 did, imagine the profits for MS if halo3 was xbox2 exclusive. Tho admittedly the console will most likely be 10x the price of halo2 at release if not more (both the ps2/xbox were roughly 10x the price of their games at release). This will most likely discourage a lot of people wanting to buying it, bar the uber-extreme halo fans and hardcore console gamers. Unless of couse MS decide to do the wise thing and release christmas next year. You could possibly argue that halo/halo2 made the xbox2 possible. Seen as the original halo looked to stop the xbox becoming a flop and the revenue generated by halo2...

from what i've heard the footage on E3 2004 is Halo 3...but if you've watched the DVD i think they created that mombasa stage just for a demo on gameplay,visuals, etc. If Halo 3 will come sooner it might be a few months after E3 2005 next year May. I'll wait for it either on XBOX for Xbox HD/Next.
