problem it got no games, plus according to various sites the games were moving horribly, so it's not gonna sell well as a game console, might sell ok as a gadget

The gizmondo and zodiac are most likely going to end up with very little game sales as people will just use emulators on it. That's what the OS on it is for. ^^

The think about technology is that a good product can beat a well known brand. Remember Sega, I thought they were going to be dominate, but all it took was the playstation and it slaughtered the opposition.

Too bad the Gizmondo will NEVER compete with GameBoy, DS and PSP. I think GameBoy alone would even outsell Gizmondo. It doesn't stand any chance at all, and WONT put up any fights. I predict it will do even worse then the N-gage. Don't be in denial, this system is going to bomb and theres nothing else to it. I honestly don't know what in the world they are thinking.

This does sound like it has potential, but I'm likely to agree that it will not be able to compete with what is out there today. But really, it sounds quite coolAnd hey, Nvidia aren't money stealers (agreed Microsoft steals money), but Nvidia actually brings quite handy hardware out everynow and then. And if you just happen to buy something not worth its money (or problematic) then its your own darn fault for not doing research. And either way, its hard to actually find something worth its price these days!

It's not $1000. More in the line with the PSP and the DS. Looks like the PSP has direct competion...I will get one. They have good software backing from all the companies. Should be a good fight when it comes to the US and Canada.

This handheld will last 6 months. And more. It has the backing of many software houses and has plenty of advanced features of the PSP and more. Should be real interesting when it hits North American shores.

It's not even going to last six months. Taking on Nintendo's handheld foothold is just STUPID! Hey why don't they try to make thier own OS and compete with Micro$oft while they are at it!

I really hope this does well, plus it's a British company :)But I don't think it can compete with the marketing machines of Sony or Nintendo sadly.
