there is no demo version of TM Nations, it is only available for FREE and it is on the TM website (google is your friend)I used to love playing this game, unfortunately, because there is no linux version and no matter what I try, it doesn't work under WINE I no longer play it, I refuse to use Microsoft just for my games, so I no longer play the games that don't run on Linux.

Yeah I just got done doing a reformat/reinstall after that Starforce ruined my install. It installs itself under a different name ....Forceware Pro or some s**t like that. Be wary of installing this.

The Starforce problem is real and re-installs itself everytime you run the game even if you run the starforce removal tool.
I dont have a problem with copy protection, but this one borders on malware and is not needed on a free offering. Do some Googling you will find some very legitmate sites doc*menting its issues

This is great fun, the online side of the game is a little daunting (yet another game where some people seem to be able to pull laptimes out of their butt). But I've just been getting into building tracks and sharing them with friends that downloaded the game too. Besides, a free game is a good game, right?

Wow i thought great.A free game from a series that rocks.Then i read the article on kotaku about the starforce protection crap thats in this and some other games that can literally destroy a dvd/cd drive by interfering with how it operates.

good graphics, nice motor sound, nice everything and i love the price (zero!)
i didn't try the online mod yet, but the solo mod has got some interesting, trackmania-style tracks.
