bluebyte, and funantics, please slowdown gameplay, and resourse gathering make the fishing hunting stone cutting and tree chopping nore realistic and not so hurried.i cant`t concentrate, on what to do next where is the old excitement of will the barracks or catapult be built in time to foil the enemie, before they foil us!the saw mill on the original version was my favorite building.now its to modern.please try and make this one the best of the franchise and not with just a fair or good rating.

Anonymous:at 2:38. why do you like to watch people who wank? an then make everyone else aware of it?

hopefully the full game will be more like the original, as far as the resourse gathering, and logs being hand sawed, and the mines with the rap tap tap. the colors are too bright and un natural and the roads are paved to quickly, i liked the darker roads, and everything seems rushed alittle to much.

Settlers 2 was my favorite of the trilogy though settlers 3 was ok i got bored of it quickly i guess the old path-to-war method may seem a bit aged in todays games.

I agree, Bright textures make it hard to actually determine the difference between terrain and people, plus the fact it burns my eyes might have something to do with it.

Brightness WAY DOWN

I will admit that animations are a big part of settlers 'charm' or whatever, to the person a couple posts up, aren't you being a little over picky? You won't buy the game because of that? Don't you play games for the fun and interaction or something? Its not a movie... you don't just sit there and watch it...

looks good but i think the trees are cut to fast, only 3 swings and with no trimming, and the stones are cut to fast, the mines are not very impressive, and the hunter and the saw mill. the logs, should be hand cut. after all these are settlers not engineers. besides the graphics, i think the 1st 2 had more time and energy involved.and the carriers acting like chickens is very annoying.hopefully the fullversion will be better than the demo , it seems everything is hurried to much. myself i will not buy it unless some of these shortcuts are fixed.
