Jesus, a lot of clueless losers post on MegaGames.Kornelia Takacs has always been one of the top players of anything. There are more female gamers, of course -- but she's qualified as one of the best. She's not ugly, and she has mad skills at the games she chooses to play. That's why she has a list of championship wins. Do any of you have championship wins? ... I didn't think so. To those idiots that said she's overrated -- I'm sure you speak from experience, right? You must be quite a prodigious gamer to talk so much bullshit. To the others who said that 'one on ones are junk' what in the hell do you think would happen if it was a giant free for all? Anybody with an ounce of common sense would team up on her. f**king duh! One on one has been the game type of choice for duels since Quake 1, and even earlier with Doom. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. I'm sorry to those of you that think HL2 or UT are 'better deathmatch', but Doom came first. Doom and Quake have coined most of what your beloved games wouldn't be around without, including deathmatch. Almost every aspect of both games has been copied off of at one time or another. Id Software makes the classics -- the standards -- and the ones to beat for other game companies, as far as first-person shooters goes. So keep right on pissing and moaning about the choice of game.

I just say this is some over rated bull shit. For that they might as well make a last man standing competition who ever lives win. That would be more interesting to see than a one on one with some that is supposedly 'The Best' at something. What if she isn't good at anything but one on one huh? Then her talents and skills are pretty limited.

Your right, she is just a girl. Girls are alowed to play video games too. it doesnt make them extra ordinary. But, Anonymous at 17:56 29/4/2005, is right. The media and all the other ppl that dont realize that girls play games too have to over rate somthing to the point where they make a competition like this. They need to wake up and realize there ar emore female gamers than they think.

Screw beating her. Read it, whoever can go the distance.Find the darkest little hole in the middle of nowhere and hide from her. Thing about these championships is that they're always ALWAYS won by lap runners who know shortcuts to and from each weapon and powerup, tool up and kill whoever gets in your way. That, and camping/opportunist fighting. I lose count of how many kills I get in UT by hiding over an open area and waiting for a nice close range melee between a load of players before I throw a Redeemer rocket down there for 3+ frags. Shame you have to play her at Doom and not something decent like UT though...
