I see AMD as the highest quality processor you can get. Intel, I imagine,"throws" things from the production line and onto the shelf, and the charge the world for it. I have an AMD x64 3500. It runs EVERYTHING (crysis and anything on those lines). Its fast, sturdy, TRUSTWORTHY (my friends Core 2 just dies...so does my other friends...and his...and his...) Intel = quantity (and cheap new technology) AMD = quality AND the newest tech.take your pick...

Yeah AMD is not doing so well so they throw slander at intel...I'm all for intel they deliver a quality and affordable product. They have always replaced any defective part for me free of charge. Statements like this from AMD will do nothing but harm their reputation.

CPU's will have different specialised cores in the future. For instance, imagine a tiny GPU core which can do physics calculations 10 times faster than a normal core. That is why AMD bought ATi. Intel is doing similar stuff.

Suck it AMD

MD is so full of s**t. The reason why Intel outsells AMD is because it's a much better processor. Intel has always been ahead of the game that's why they own the market. As far as price is concerned...you get what you pay for!AMD's biggest problem was the merger with ATI. ATI's last line was a total flop. Not to mention they lie to their customers saying their cards have hardware HD decoding when they don't! Cutting edge, innovative? I think not!

lmao, they sound like a bunch of whiney cvnts dont they. Who gives a damn who copies who so long as the product is powerfull and value for money.amd dont seem to be able to do anything right atm, getting kicked in the nuts by both intel and nvidia. However i`ll be the 1st to buy an amd/ati product when they dont svck as much as they do now! Get over it ladies.

AMD has nothing they are the ones stuck in the past, there phenom is a total flop and is nine months late Intel is so far ahead of AMD it's silly to even think intel is coping unless they are bitter about the clock speeds at which these new AMDs run at and they are a joke indeed.Unless AMD starts getting those clock speeds up Intel will always be ahead and they are currently doing this with 45nm and 32nm.

Poor marketing strategy is what i see that's why intel is outselling AMD. I guess the only marketing strategy they have is to bash intel against this and that... like this one :-)

Intel is under peoples nails, I worked for IBM who practically know nothing beyond Intel. As it is the only name that works for them, try getting a job there you'll see how biased their views are. Your required to hand in a written test, majority of the questions are circa 90's related. AMD owns their asses no question to it, AMD processors are more stable and allow dual 32bit and 64bit applications to run natively.

I have never had any problems with Intel in the past but my AMD 62 x2 run pretty smooth. As long as it works I will buy it. I don't care who is #1.

well with that logic it should'nt be difficult for AMD to take the elad it used to have over Intel back.get innovating and walk the walk

AMD USED to rock :]. Fanboy/girl statements like the first post are pointless...people buy the best bang for the buck. Get over it and stop living in your happy AMD dream world.

well AMD defiantly has a point, and Intel does over charge there top of the line CPU's, AMD was at the same prices years ago when they did have CPU's that were faster then Intel's. while they may innovate, Intel manages to create something better, or at least they have been the past little while.
