Bugger, bit like an idea i had to have two screens effectively in the same place with a configuration of pixels which are 'aimed' at R/L eyes, not dissimilar to the shutters on traffic lights (only bloody tiny)

I think Dan Davis has missed the fact that this is in full colour and is like a normal screen, but with ability produce images that look truely 3D (with out the need to wear stupid bits of cardboard and plastic)

Honestly I think this is really dumb. I mean the idea is neat but it will never be very popular. Who remembers the Dracula Cereal 3d glasses so stuff on the box pops out at you? If the color is red, the image is far, if the color is purple, the image is close. It's an old technology. The only colors you will see is rainbow. It's like the virtual boy. That died quick. Oh well. I'm not impressed.

From what I can see from the website, the TV comes with its own 1.2ghz Athon computer and special software to convert 2D into 3D. There is a hefty price tag, TV (from 5000), the Computer(from 3000), and for DDD to do your converion its (5000 per minute)

i wonder if it requires a 3d signal, such as one for the right eye, and one for the left, or if it has some onboard processor to change any input into 3d?
