Daoc is a bit expensieve but i think its wqorth it its really really slow in the beggining i rpobably wouldve kept playing it if it werent for a few friends and my cousin but once u can do rvr its awesome and once u get to a higher lvl

Dark Ages of Camelot has average graphics and sound.I bought DAOC and played the 30 day free trial and it was enough for me to put it on my dusty shelf where it remains to this day.DAOC is a pure grind game,giving players no other options but to grind..it's either combat or crafting in which either takes hours to get anywhere with it.So it requires alot of time invested and not to mention money invested if you want to get the most of the game you'll need to buy serveral expansion packs along with the monthly fees it gets to be a rather expensive venture.So you're in a constant grind cycle,going out fighting to make alittle cash,then gathering resouces so you can continue grinding your crafting abilities...day after day the same thing which quickly becomes boring. I can't speak for everyone but i'd pass on this title,As it would be more expensive getting the game and all it's expansions than to buy somme other great MMO and and still have enough money to pay for a few months game time,After all getting more for less is the whole point right?So save some money and get something else.

OMG this game is teh pwn... i barely have time to play anything else! this is my first mmorpg and i love it.. WOW seems childish to me even though i waited a long time to see it. ToA and catacombs are great add ons!be aware that the first few levels are kinda slow, but when u get to RvR or the master trials everything gets so much better
