Just got a new Note and an ATI X700. But DE:IW won't play anymore. got about 5 hours in and then it just died. system checks out ok and other games too. been waiting to place this a while. Anyone know of any patches to fix the "bug"

my graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce MX/MX 400. unfortunatly DE2 doesnt work with MX. is ther any way i can get it to work? or do i need to get a different graphics card?

OKay, here's the deal.
I bought this game knowing my computer could cope with it. But now when i start the game it checks my DVD drive for about 50 seconds and then tells me that i have a backup CD in the drive. How the HELL is that possible, and do any of you have an idea how i can fix this?Greetz, Zero-M

This is v. disapppointing for people such as myself who actually wanted to learn a little about the actual patch and not hear a bunch of pissed yanks/brits slating each other. As exasperating as Americans can be I'd appreciate it if someone could post something worthwhile about the patch ;) thanks. Interesting how many of those arguing remained anonymous.

so no news on a damn No CD patch for the 1.2 DXIW Patch? Ya go take the Political bullshit somewhere else, btw Some features of the 5200 in NFSU are disabled even with later drivers n patches etc, in other words a game will play but it will look like crap unless if u get a midrange or high end board. Course Some one supposedly can run UT2k4 on a MX 440.

i recently buillt a system JUST TO PLAY THIS GAME(for this lady i know that got hooked on the original) the Specs are as follows
MSI KM266Pro MoBo
AthelonXP 2000+ (1.67Ghz)
via chipset for onboard sound
and a WD 7200RPM 60gig HD and this game runs like CRAP!
i think at the minimal settings its only hitting 8~15 FPS could it be due to the lack of ram
(crucial 384megs of PC2100DDR) any help or thought would really help. Thanks

Hmmmmmm, that's 15% of the entire voting population, which isn't anywhere close to majority. So to say either one stole the election is ignorant.
