ATI CCC (Control Center) is SOOOO... AND TOOOO... SLOOOOOOWWWW.... FOR MY TASTE!So I dumped it for the old proven good and 'REAL FAST!'(tm) CCP (Control Panel). I never appreciate anything that loads very slowly... such as CCC..
(and so do the chix.. "Faster! Faster! Oooohhh... Yay!" ;) I also tested both version in startup time and 3DMark03, and I found that CCP is way faster in both areas (faster startup and 80 marks higher in CCP). I don't have any idea why it could be like that, driver is the same, only the control panel changed. The worst of CCC is it doesn't include 'WMV accel' control box, so I can't fix the notoriously bad ATI Video accel (e.g: colored WMV9 playback, fixed/glued brightness control, etc) just by shutting it off like CCP can. I really surprised that ATI tech support still don't fix this long-known video accel issue in its latest update.

Unlicke you nob jockeys, i'm not scared to get insults so ive named myself as something other than Anonymous. I have bf1942 & ive played this mod, sadly i don't like it 1 bit. The best mod ive played for any game has to be the Sven co-op mod for Half Life. So both ya'll shut the hell up.
