Debug Mode=1 is for creating items teleporting to areas and spawning monsters.
Cheat=1 is for in game play, such as ctrl+R heals your party members, and ctrl+y kills and enemy when you have the mouse over them.
both codes are needed if you really want to play the game.

instead of typing cheat=1 under game options scroll to the top of the page and under the heading program options or sumthing like that type Debug mode=1 the save and exit. then from now on just ctrl+space to access the consloe

Keep loosing Items.... In the standalone version, running patch 2.0.23037, once in a while, the following items disappear from Nalia's inventory. " Robe of the Good Archmagi" and " Belt of Intertial Barrier". Anyone know why? I have to revert back to prior saves to keep items. Thanks

Can you tell me how to fix the problem with entering cheats? I have enter a line in the baldur.ini under "game options" (cheats=1) but still don't work.

Ok, has anyone else experianced this?
At Anomen's trial, he is instantly shot down for upgrade to knighthood (in my game) because he killed the people out of revenge. Afterwards, Aerie tries to comfort him, and he becomes angry and attacks her. We stopped him, but afterwards, Aerie refuses to walk more then two steps each click. Sometimes she won;t move, or drop spells for no reason. When I remove her from the party, there is no way to get her back, nor does she talk to me... its very odd... any ideas? I don't think it's part of the game...

The file size is kinda huge..maybe that's why it took the developers a long long long time to come up with a suitable patch..wonder if my hex-edited game will be affected after the the patch installation..well,we gotta see .that's for sure.anyway..GB2:shadows of Amn is the best computer rpg around.Everybody sure agrees.chao
