Get your heads out from downunder. No 18+ game certification?? Does this mean that you also ban any 18+ movies from your airways? I guess you also don't have anything on your news channels to do with war, murder and no public alcohol advertising either? LMFAO!

Just wrote them a letter:Dear OFLC, I recently read a story that said you've banned the videogame 'Soldier of Fortune 3' because of the nature in which others can be killed, and the gore involving limbs detaching and blood. First of all, f**k you for being so narrow minded towards the videogame industry. Second of all, when you rate games, keep in mind they're not just for kids; adults play them too. Sure maybe KIDS shouldn't be allowed to play certain games, but why shouldn't grown adults have the right to choose what games they do and do not play, especially when the content is only as 'bad' or gory as many of the movies in your local cinema. Last of all, what hope does the videogame industry, with all it's fans, employees, and artists; have when it's governed by such a conservative department as yourself?

I'd submit that the OFLC's decision encourages software piracy.

I never played the first game, but the level of gore doesn't sound much different from the second. (Double Helix)

Be quiet when you rant about this, Jack Thomspon might here you and find a connection between this game and the spread of HIV in Africa.

they can ban all they want but us aussies always have a way to get a game we want to play.the day they realise how stupid it is to band a game instead of giving it a R18 rating is the day we start to get some really cool stuff in australia.

After looking at all the s**tty Generic graphics, i'd ban this game world-wide. Stop making s**t games people. Take your game and shove it up your ass. This game should have been out ion 2001.

"OFLC's report stated that in Payback 'the limbs may be shot off, resulting in large amounts of blood spray and the depiction of torn flesh and protruding bone from the dismembered limb.'"OMG OFLC now I am going to have nightmares from your graphic descriptions of violence! I am going to have to seek therepy for years to get such gory visions removed from my head. You are going to hear from my lawyer I am definately seeking damages, DON'T YOU KNOW CHILDEREN READ THESE THINGS?!

Australia doesn't have an a R18+ for games because most people believe games are for kids. it would take alot of banning of high profile games for things to change peoples views of this issue. But not many games have been banned so far, from memory the only one i can think of is postal 2(crap anyway)

I think this is so stupid. If they're into banning these "gory" games how long until movies get the axe....
