Haha @ Crytek CEO.But yeah, Crysis was boring. All it had going for it was the graphics. What I hated about Farcry was the mutants, when Crysis brought out the aliens, I stopped playing. It was just boring! IF YOUR GAME IS GOOD, I WILL BUY IT! Lets hope Ubisoft can make FarCry 2 fun. If it's a fun game, I will buy it. Period. Forget Crytek!

OH NO! ALIENS! THAT WAS SO ORIGINAL!What? You guys at the Crytek story development were all out of mutants? I heard the next Crytek game will feature a beautiful freely explorable island filled to the brim with beautifull blonde killer babes who are semi naked, but about 10% into the game you will end up running for your life in narrow corridors from beasts out of Greek Mythology.

The Story was not driven enough, it left you wanting more at the end. But since this is a trilogy, they thought they'd leave you stumped at the end. The game graphically is one of the most best looking games to date, sure you could say COD4 is great, but can COD4 do what this game does. simple answer is NO! The game gets a 9 out of 10. On metacritic it gets an average of 91. Thats really good.

I agree with the Hankster. The game was just Boring. I was a dumb ass who purchased the game even though I read the steep requierments. I had to run the game on low and play at 1024/768. The game just looked Boring like that. And it's true, the game is as stale a a day old loaf of bread.

Well the only thing crysis had was it looked pretty. The gameplay is boring, plagued with issues. Theres no reason to play the online. Why the f**k would I buy it, I honestly couldn't even be bothered to pirate it because its so stale.

And after paying full price for this game on the day of release, statements like this make me angry. So, the guys cant be bothered with exclusive games for us no more. This was the dumbest f**king article I've ever seen make it on megagames. You know none of it makes sense. The crytek people are a bunch of f**king idiots and will probably be bought out in the next few years, where there it will do the pc platform correctly. DUUUURRR PIRACY ON THE PC OMGGGG, it's everywhere you dumb f**ks. It was more on the PC platform since 80% of motherf**kers cant play it, so... why not give it an illegal shot? I can guarantee you that once the person got it illegally; installed it, tried it, and got rid of the steaming pile of s**t. Crysis had every bit of potential to run just fine and look great on a decent pc... you crytek homos just didn't take the time. So, kudos for blaming your s**tTY PC SALES ON PIRACY, when in reality IT WAS BECAUSE YOU SIMPLY f**kED UP FOR THE PC PLATFORM - Sadly, piracy is the easy way for people to explain why something didn't sell well. Same thing with s**tty musicians and terrible applications. You knew piracy was bad before you released the game, why not be smart and counter it well enough? Incredibly cliche story, terribly dumb AI (that often goes into X-Ray cyborg sniper mode), and just plain boring gameplay... all running on a horribly unoptimized engine.Not to mention the weapons feel like airsoft toys (I suppose I've been spoiled by how CoD4's weapons handle though). Surely the lack of sales couldn't have anything to do with the fact that it is an absolutely mediocre game at best, and all of the hype surrounding it was for the magical engine that still can't run worth a damn on modern hardware. Surely it couldn't have been that.

doesnt this mean crysis 2 will look worst then the 1st crysis. since they HAVE to keep all the versons (console and pc)the same or they will lose rateings and iv got a nvidia 9600gt sli and i love the graphics in dx10 mode.This meanS they will have to degrade the games graphics on pc just to make it same as the console verson to keep the rateing high and i only bought crysis since it looks sooo good

It's funny how most people are forgetting the fact that the DEMONSTRATION, aka DEMO of the game was released before the game itself, allowing possible buyers to test if the game would run and at what fps (0.2). All this "dl'ing the full game to see if it runs" is a big LAME excuse.

wow wow hold hold everybody and hold on crytek i cant beleive it no one gets it do they!!!. its a simple matter .. a game like this will still be selling in 2-4 years time because it looks soo good (there are even better detail options hidden apparratly) so when most other games have stopped selling cos they look crap all us pc owners will start to buy it in say 2 years time :))
oh and just for the record i have a quad core 2 running at 3.4 ghz and a 8800gtx and yes there are sections that crawl in high detail but not many ... but the 8800 anf quad cores are both under 200 pound now

just for the record im not sticking up fro crytek ,crysis has lots of bugs to work out

I can imagine that if it can barely run on PC's. I doubt it can run on 360 or PS3. Wait till nxt gen of consoles n then perhaps it might run. Other then that if they tried to port it now to consoles its like trying to get to mars within a few days. If anything they'll port it with less intense graphics, be like playing COD4. COD4 looks much better on PC by the way.

the problem is that they thought their game was deserving of good sales on the pc but the thing is it doesnt run decently on most pcs. so how could they of expected good sales based on that fact? no surprise crysis didnt sell well and no surprise they are not making pc exclusives anymore. fps games sell for their multiplayer support most of their time not just a single player experience. oh btw its kinda funny how childish people are acting childish here cursing like crazy morons.

Year right, surely is a problem but is not like consoles suffer it too, as ive seen people selling copies of the games for consoles. When i know is a good game i buy it fast, if is a so so i try it first, is bad i wont even bother to even pirate it. This game had great visuals but no real good story. The game deserves a 10 out of 10. If this game doesn't stay exclusive for the PC, i hope they go to hell and just jump out right now. They'll lose a fan base of PC gamers if they do go multi-platform. I hate when PC games go to consoles. Pisses me off where is the challenge.

wow... they say they dont approve of piracy, but that sure seemed like the point they were making. you dont have to pirate a game in order to see if your system will play it. that's why they make demos. and 95% of the time, a demo will perform the same as the actual game.

If you got a PC, which can run far cry @ max settings but only barely crysis @ minimum settings (barely...). Far cry looks WAAAAAY prettier.This is sort of f**king retarded. Imho, but then again i have no clue how graphics "advance". But well, this is indeed where the consoles are nice, piracy rate there is waaaay lower and thats good imho. More money for the game developers. More money = better games usually. Well better quality / quantity :)
