Here's a nice idea Crytek. For your next game, when we are allowed to start in a large free-roaming environment: keep it that way. No more shootouts in ruins/alien ship corridors. No convoluted bulls**t crap about mutants/aliens and, oh yeah FUN LASTING THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE GAME. Not just the first 30 to 45 minutes or so.

dont forget soloman02, that the 50 mil is divided between publisher, producer(crytec) and of course the stores that sell the game, I'd say its more likely cryteck made around 30-40 mil in the first 3 months

Wow, despite all the huge losses caused by piracy, they made a profit?wtf?

At least Crytek made double in revenues for the first three months that it cost to make it.1 Million units sold * $50 per unit = 50 Million. For all their whining about pirating, to make double what it cost to develop in the first three months is damn good.

Nah it will run nicely on any midrange system bought within the release year. Dont forget moores law guys...oh wait, this place is crammed with ignorant fanboys, they dont know what that is.

3 to 5 times better than the first, i think that means it simply won't run on even the most powerful pc's of the release year

3 to 5 times better? So in other words, nobody will be able to play the game.@Catsimboy: What else can they do? They aren't going to burn all their ammunition shooting at air.

Your game can be the prettiest friggin game in all history but it doesn't matter if the AI is terrible. Typical reaction of a North Korean soldier in Crysis to the player using the stealth function "Oh no that enemy cloaked in front of me, I guess I'll shoot randomly for a couple of seconds and just pretend I never saw him"
