its an anti piracy prog, i have installed, causes no hardware or software glitches or fails. The only issue i had with it was when i it wouldn't recognize an install drive 2 years ago because it wasn't my primary. Fix was install off of my primary cd not my dvd. Get off your high horse. SecureRom has been running for years ... your just to dumb to have noticed it before now. I used to run deamon etc to bypass it . not worth the trouble

Who the hell would sue over not being able to pirate the game? Yes, i'm aware of the allegations, and you should be aware that all of them were made up - geeky pirates have way too much time on their hands. This WILL get thrown out, like it always does.

@ 21:48

Yes, the latest version of secuROM is like that.

I've never heard about secuROM not being able to be uninstalled, nor have I heard that secuROM can block programs and screw up hardware. Is this true?

Bout time someone kicked Securom in the balls, but its still hard to believe the extent of the charges.

They should sue EA for SPORE being such a weak and boring game to boot. The only really innovative part of the game is designing your own creature and that design makes no difference after the first stage of game play. So you can design your creature, some buildings and some vehicles, big deal. It doesn't really make a difference game play wise. After the hour or so you spend creating your creature, then your buildings and vehicles, you are still stuck with a weak, repetitive bore of a game.
