Well i restored xp from a ghost image a couple of months ago and im reluctant to reinstall half life 2 as the updates must be huge by now. : (
imagine if every game you bought worked like this!
steam is the biggest pile of sh1t imo!

steam is f**king buggy now. i click css and it shuts down. hl2dm does the same thing. my 3rd party games all f**ked up (minor update did nothing). the only thing that works is hl2.

I know its supposed to be free but currently on the steam browser if you click on it; it has a price tag by it. I figured it was a mistake and noted that in my post. But i still feel they are paving the way to charging for everything they can.... ex. 2 new maps released today and you can play them online after your purchase of just $9.95

Steam is FINALLY turning into a decent program. I hated it for a long time and they still have many things to get right. The dod:s launch was a little rocky but they did a good job of getting it fixed within 24 hours. I just fear they are going to start charging for every little thing they release now. According to steam currently the lost coast tech demo with a level or 2 is going to be $40? This could be a mistake though.
