I still stick to Operation Flashpoint as then ONE AND ONLY noteable tactical military simulation available as a game.This demo doesn't react on my mouse or keyboard buttons. Seems to be one major bug rather than a game demo......

Hey idiot, the country is called Zekihstan and Tajikistan is only boardered by China and Afghanistan. If you'd read some articles about this game you'd know that it was a made up country.

Sounds good to me!To Megagames: For your information there is a country called Tajikistan (not Tazikhstan) that is situated between China,Afganistan and Pakistan, and it hasn't been created for that game.(Just look on a map once in a while)

the ps2 is slower... in the new teenage mutant ninja turtle game with the cell shading. They wanted to make it 4 player but the ps2's processor couldn't keep up so to keep them even all all systems they made it 2.

This game does not change us as game players at all. If anyone out there has played a game like CS, Raven Sheild, or any of the deltaforce and tom clancy games they have already used miltarty like tatics to see which corners to peek around and witch object would provide best cover. So this game sounds pretty lame to me Ill go PLay rainbow six 3 and own some peeps.Peace

I realy enjoyed Operation Flashpoint (demo), I am still thinking of getting the retail game but I cant seem to find it anymore. Has anyone played Delta Force: Black hawk down, its not bad for a nice cheap game.

Maybe the Ps2 is too slow to handle it??? It cant handle half life. Xbox can run it but the Ps2 cant. Just shows u why computer is the best then xbox and way down the line comes Ps2 lol (dont hit me :D )

FPS means FIRST PERSON SHOOTER. This is NOT an FPS. You can't move your mouse to aim. you just give commands. ok if you liek that sort of game...

by the way ... it is a fps in the traditional sense... the only difference is you can command your guys more than in rainbow six 3 ... all open door and such ... you can tell them a shit load more ... it is an FPS ... point click kill

Operation Flashpoint can suc.k a nut. it was so f.ucken gay, that's why the Army decided to use the engine. multi-player is an experience like no other...it is one of the greatest innovations in the industry of gaming. AI is constantly getting "smarter and smarter" because developers wanna simulate the way people play. then again, single player is where you get a different experience. this game...eh. star wars is gay!

This game could be amazing. I am really into infantry tatics, ok I dont know jack but would like to learn so this game is just right for me. BTW, I hope they release at least a mapping tool for the PC version. They dont have to release the MOD tools but at least mapping tools so we can create different location to play in besides just the one setting you play in the game.

Has anyone played Operation Flashpoint. That game was commercial then its engine was picked-up by the marines for training purposes!!! It was an awesome military simulation. If anyone wants a great game, do not waste time on this one; support Operation Flashpoint!

i think they spent more time on writeing up 5 pages about the game, then making sure the game is bug free and doesnt have any gameplay issues.CHRIST! why do these people even write up these huge press releases anymore? gamers dont beleive them anymoe, it all comes down to word of mouth. if my buddy has played i care what he says about it. not what the game publisher wants to say about it. they obviously just want me to buy a copy and will say anything, whereas my buddy actually wants me to enjoy a game, so will tell me the truth.

Ok this game is just a strategy game in partly first person. you don't point and click and shoot like in FPS's. This isn't anywhere near operation flashpoint.
This isn't a first person shooter, it's giving commands to your team like in rainbow six, except you dont get to move and shoot with them.

this is gonna be the more popular version of operation flashpoint, which btw was both fps and tps as well as strategy.

Note to Saivv3rto, not many people have fast connections that can handle playing the latest games online. The most they can play is single player. Plus in single player you do not have chances of people cheating and then bragging about winning like a big shot later. Essentially single play is good for those who just want to do games without constantly trying to compete with everyone in the universal piss test that is multiplay. As for this game I gotta ask, why is military suddenly getting to be the main general theme in fps gaming? All I have seen lately from these is highly unimaginative gameplay and obvious attempts by the us army to create some form of endorsement for recruiting to join the body bag club. Either way I would like to see some more imaginative scenarios then ww2 or fighting some cliche terrorist group. Now is that too much to ask for?
