FPS Lover at 3:51 30/8/2005 I'm a great fan of fps games.. Everytime I played Doom 3 I got bored after playing 2 levels. the gameplay was way more repetive than Half-life2. Half-life 2 was a bit more funnier to play. I hope I don't get the same feeling I had with Doom3 with this game. (Enter room, Kill monsters, enter another dark room) It should be (Enter room, play around with some stuff, or see some scripted stuff, Kill monsters, new cool area) The screens of FEAR are looking good. Guys at pc zone just played 4 levels of fear and said its just about the best ai they ever saw in a fps!Enemies take into acount the situation and react accordingly! If you replay a level and do the same thing twice then they may react the same.Do something different and they will react differently. Anonymous at 11:24 26/8/2005 The game telling the enemies to do exactly the same thing everytime you load the game is not artifical inteligence AI is when the enemies adapt to different situations and change their tatics to fit what your doing. It being so heavily scripted isn't good AI. rel at 11:9 26/8/2005 I thought the AI was one of highlights of the game. The only game they ruined was Contract J.A.C.K. But after playing NOLF2 and the latest FEAR demo, I gotta say, they do know how to make games. I can't find any aspects of the game that "blow". IMO everything is almost perfect. I've lost count Anonymous at 20:13 25/8/2005 I've played just about every PC game there is and I gotta say, the recent demo was more entertaining than most of the other full games. The only thing I could think of for an improvement would be more gibbing cutoffs. There are currently 6 dismemberment spots on each model. The legs, arms, head, and belt line (Seen belt line twice after hours of playing the demo. Doesn't happen often.) So they could have made a few more gibbing locations. Yes, I've blown the enemy to bits too when a grenade hits them just right. That's too unrealistic for me, a whole body turning instantly into 4 little red chunks of flesh that disappear in a couple seconds. The Soldier of Fortune series still hold the crown for more realistic gore. Anonymous at 12:38 24/8/2005 the MP beta was pretty interesting to play. it was cool when everybody was shooting in slow-mo. the SP player demo was a lil short. but absolutley amazing. solid graphics, gamplay and physics. The A.I. could have used a little more work in some cases.
