I've (tried) to play this game about 1h, and it's really bad. You're just running/jumping/bashing around all the time, the character is no easy to direct and aiming is almost impossible. Plus the teamates AI are so stupid that they are more an handicap than an help. I advise to forget about this game.

this game f**king sucks... it tries to be unreal tournment and quake 3 with some lame excuse for a storyline.... i played it for about 10 minutes and just got f**king pissed with it's lame gameplay and lame ai... just one advise...stay away from this crap!

When products like this are getting made, why can't one brave sould stand up and say "hey this f**king sucks! I mean even though we call things 'gear wheel' and 'flood tunnels' we all know its just f**king get the red key for the red door." kill yourself before you accidently play(?) this game... way behind wolfenstein 3d (the 1st one)

yall are jackasses... plus most of u cant play doom III anyway so stop saying this has anything on doom III plus do u not know when doom III is comming out eveyone will have this game done and started a new one by the the time Doom III we be even out... so get a life and stop comparing games to Doom III prob. most of u havent even played it.. i have... and its good yes but it wont be out until like 6 months afer this game.. so who the hell cares if it comapares to hf2 or Doom III

Doods, you fight about games, pathetic.
Cmon, we are looking at 2 different games here, Doom is a Horror/Action/RPG game.And this Apocalyptica is an arcade game, a shooter, as many would say. I say this game looks kool, but not as good as the DOOM 3 or HL2. STILL, i do believe that KONAMI rulez, because recently they are putting a lot of pressure on the PC market, since Metal Gear Solid 2 hitted the PC, Konami has been investing in Ports and Originals just for PC. This is none other than a BIG benefit for all the PC users.
Still, i mantain this:
Fighting over games is just for LOSERS. None is a better game, they are just different.

IQ: 176 is such a f**king moron who lives in a small room repeatedly playing the doom series over and over.it sounds quite interesting and i'm excited to hear that such a large step has been taken.
i hope they take their time and create a totally awesome title.

2nd post. THis game will be total CRAP! has nothing on Doom3. (i think, dont know quite yet) but I can see it being an xcrap title. they seem to get worse and worse sounding games. and this one is just plain WRONG
