Stublore first of all UAE is the most tolerent country in the middle east..I have been living there 4 18 years.. The part about these people taking tachnology is true.. It was all from Ancient Greece and Ancient India..
And Grimlock, you are talking about dinar not UAE dirham which is less than the dollar..
And yes these people are bloody oil rich.. You realize that when the 1 car out of every 10 is a ferri or a hummer or porsche.. Driven by some real sh1t head..

TO capslock guy, you really need to study some real history, while the Arabs did make some advances much of what you would claim was robbed from other civilisations which were conquered and then stagnated technologically under muslim rule.

I've been to the UAE, and Dubai.
Dubai is pretty and all ,but hardly technologically advanced, and its outer rims are marred with just desert or s**t.
the waterpark is nice.
but why, and how, such a beautiful city can sit amid a such a spiteful land is unknown to me.heres a tip though, the money there is worth MORE than american cash, it was 3:1 when i was there, so if ya can load up on cash from the area its a good exchange to make a profit :)
