Get the new zone alarm, but get the unofficial patches, because, there are some holes in it, not many but few...few enough to be a risk that you don't want to take.
But damn i just don't feel safe with all these companies and there back door programs>

I have at least 25 Spyware parasites in my computer, a friend of mine found 600.
I know mine comes from Gozilla, but the best way to prevent these A-holes is to get yourself a Firewall. I recommend Zone Alarm from www.zonelabs.com (I think that's the site) because it works really great, and the best thing...its FREE.
