This program is REALLY Works. The way it cools the system is simple. It just increases the gpu fan speed (if it's possible) and decrease the cpu voltage(to the factory min values), also it decreases priority of all unneeded services and programs, so the cpu load decreases=decreases it's fan speed. Game ACC uses all possible variety of tweaking (ini, reg, serv, undoc*m ented and unused tweaks and values. Also it has many uniq tuning technologies such as individual game tweaking options and other. So you can try to benchmark it if you cant believe in it's power and see the difference before and after.

Well. I have some experience with these types of software. The ONLY way to improve performance is to upgrade your hardware and drivers. Another sub-legal way is to NLITE your own custom install of windows. TRIM THE FAT AND RUN LIKE HELL.

But I have to mention, there's no way to cool a GFX card without reducing the clock speeds, the only way is to get a better cooler to replace that 48 dB 8cm fan on that, let's say 6800GT(I know, there aren't so sucky coolers for those cards).

The only way to cool hardware with software is to reduce clock speeds which will reduce performance. I do not see any other way possible. -By anonymousWell, it's possible, my Athlon XP can be cooled by activating the forced cooling option, and it doesn't reduce clock speeds. It takes the thermal power down by some 90% and reduces the Vcore by 0,22 volts. BUT, still it's quite suspicious, especially if you happen to use an Intel processor. I'm just saying though, I might be wrong.

Not even ready for trial yet, doubt it's any better than most user tweaks that are out there. Seeing is believing, get us a trial run.

"Game Accelerator claims it will assess" Does it have something to do with ASS? lol I'll believe it when I see it, these optimizers generally do absolutely nothing.

From the description this sounds like a windows-based OS optimized for gaming - that's the only way you can get much extra performance

It might help people with less knowledge of the Windows structure. Any tool that makes messing with Windows easier should be a good tool :) By the way, raw power itself canīt do anygood when is not well tunned, try to play any game without your graphic card driver installed :)

Use "msconfig" to get rid of running processes and startup programs.Memory doesnt need to be defragged, it refreshes several times every millionth of a second. If it's too good to be true, it probably is.

...Little skeptical... But not one to dismiss things. If it can suppress the windows shell... and give you another 50mb of ram... well... im down to try. However if its anything like those stupid apps from swiftdog.... then its useless.

well to be honest i'm surprised microsoft has'nt released a optimised for gaming version of windows, this is going back now but i remender a little program called dos-shell, a before mainstream windows program interface by microsoft where you could control, edit and run games(memory allocation etc) it was superb.

why would anyone need to buy something to turn off services when there are plenty of good guides out there and it takes 2 mins when u know what your doing. However if ya want to really strip windows of all the crap you dont need then use nlite and create your own iso install patched and all, that is leaner and way faster than standard xp. My install when i got rid of all the crap i didnt need lost 340MB of sh1t. oh and its free! google it.

It should work. A similar product was released a long time ago, but instead it was just the shell replacement (for windows) that turned off all extraneous windows processes (file sharing, explorer, etc) which eat up ram and ambient processing power. This software must be synonomous to the previously described software, but with the added features such as ram defragmentation and the likes...Just my thoughts
